Environmental Policy

CESECO is committed to developing circular infrastructure that is designed, permitted and operated with environmental discipline. Our projects are intended to recover value from unavoidable organic and animal-derived materials while managing regulated activities through appropriate controls, monitoring and reporting. Environmental performance must be built into each project from the earliest design stage, not treated as an afterthought once construction has begun.

For each site, CESECO expects to assess planning requirements, environmental permitting, odour control, wastewater treatment, emissions management, traffic impacts, water use, energy performance, biosecurity and product-route obligations. The final approach will depend on the site, feedstock mix, technology configuration, regulatory requirements and commercial use of the outputs. Where claims are made about emissions, waste reduction, resource recovery or carbon-related outcomes, CESECO will seek to support them with defined methodologies and appropriate evidence.

The North Wales project is being developed as an integrated industrial campus in which rendering, energy, water treatment, greenhouse production and OEM pet-feed ingredients are considered together. This creates opportunities to use heat, water, energy and intermediate products more efficiently across the site. It also requires disciplined environmental governance, including clear responsibilities, operating procedures, monitoring plans, incident response, staff training and periodic review.

CESECO will seek to work constructively with regulators, local authorities, communities, suppliers and commercial partners to ensure that environmental risks are identified early and managed transparently. As projects move from development into operation, CESECO intends to report environmental performance through practical project-level indicators rather than broad unsupported statements.
